Curved Blade Allows Rocking Motion
The rocker knife is an easy-to-use adaptive knife cuts food with a rocking motion. Constructed with an ergonomic T-shaped handle to grasp, the blade is then gently “rocked” back and forth through the food to cut it. Easy to grip, the knife is designed to help mitigate pain and to reduce the risk of a cutting injury.
T-Shaped Handle for Easy Grip
This adaptive cutting knife is designed to enhance cooking independence for one-handed individuals or those with weakened grip capabilities due to arthritis or recovering from a surgery, illness, stroke, or nerve damage. By applying pressure from directly above the object to be cut, less strength and dexterity are needed to cut. The rocker knife is capable of cutting various foods such as meat and fruit.
Reduces the Risk of Cutting Injury
The rocker knife is available in two different options: wood or plastic handle. The wood handle is dishwasher safe up to 125°F (52°C) and the plastic handle is dishwasher safe up to 220°F (104°C). In addition, the curved blade comes equipped with a safety edge to reduce the risks of an accident while using the knife.
