Obi Robotic Feeder
Obi is a breakthrough dining device for people living with physical challenges, and combines cutting-edge robotics, elegant design, intuitive controls and a friendly personality to give individuals who are fed by others the ability to take control of their meals at home and in public. The key functionality is a robotic arm that selects virtually any properly sized food from one of four compartments and delivers it to one of several thousand potential locations where the diner can eat from the spoon. Ideal for patients with ALS, amputation, arthritis, cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, neuromuscular conditions, Parkinson’s, or spinal injuries.

In addition to Obi3 itself, we offer a variety of accessories that improve the user’s dining experience. These accessories include the following: plate, placemat, four utensils (small, classic, large, spork), two pressure switches and a charger.

Switch Operations & Use
Obi is easy to control after initial training. This feeder aid is controlled by switches and can be operated by any part of the body that is able to activate the switch. This feature allows the feeder to become an extension of the diner, and makes eating more independent for the user.
Backpack Features
Custom-designed carrying bag made specifically for Obi with durable nylon, providing secure transport for the device and its accessories. TSA-approved carry-on size. Size: 14 x 20 x 8 in. Features include: adjustable wheelchair straps, accessory compartments, water bottle pocket, and premium zipper pulls. The backpack must be used with protective foam.

Sip N Puff Switch with Gooseneck Features
Strong, lightweight and versatile, the Sip/Puff Switch with Gooseneck features a universal mount that securely attaches to table tops, beds and wheelchairs. The Sip/Puff Switch includes a 6 foot tube with twist connectors and two 5 foot, 3.5–mm cables that plug into the Obi ports. (No external power required) A gentle sip or puff on the mouthpiece on the flexible steel gooseneck will operate Obi. Includes four filtered replacement Gooseneck Mouthpieces. One year limited warranty.
